Close to B&B “Le Rosier” there are many leisurely walks you can take along wandering trails, like the “Ru”, or up mountain paths, from easy to athletic, take your choice.

What we call “Ru” are the typical canals used to channel water to the dryer parts of the mountains. They are often followed by comfortable trails that are even suitable for excursions with small children in strollers, or for senior citizens. The ones we most fondly recommend are: Ru Courtod, Ru D'Arlaz, Ru de la Pleine.

They hold a special charm in every different season: in winter a walk by their side in snowshoes is magical, in autumn we recommend you take your camera to capture the beautiful colours of the turning leaves, in summer they offer shade and cool, and in spring they explode into a thousand multicoloured blooms.
